Conversations That Matter
What are we doing to put our Spirituality into practice? Spirituality is about the way we live, after all. This is a place for Communal Lectio, Centering on the Word. Ministry of the Word is central to Precious Blood Spirituality.

animated….that is the feeling, I feel a bit animated by this gospel. It has everything, healing, subversion, community, and prayer. I feel especially drawn to the portion on prayer, and that is where the call seems to be for me. So the action this week is a call to depend less on what I can do, and more on the one who draws me into communion wiuth him.

The image of Jesus is in deep communion with his Father. We are to do no less. Our involvement in the Sunday Mass, this act at this table in this place is rooted in our deep connection with the one who created and who loves us. Like the Bride in the Song of Songs, we pay close attention, saying with her, Let me see you, let me hear your voice, For your voice is sweet, and you are lovely. . . . I was sleeping, but my heart kept vigil; I heard my lover knocking. . . . My heart trembled within me, and I grew faint when he spoke. (Song 2:14,5:2a,4b)
